Your dedicated teaching and friendly small class environment really enriched my skills in all sections of the UMAT.  It is no wonder that I was invited to the Monash, Adelaide, James Cook and UNSW interviews. The private interview session was really a bargain and you provided many tips to take away, with the result of medicine offers from UNSW, Adelaide and Monash universities. I am so excited (and relieved) that I will go into my favourite uni in my home state, UNSW, next year for medicine.

Previously I have had a couple of attempts at UMAT since and including year 12, and during that time I have been to a few UMAT tuition courses, but this year, after having been coached by Face2Face UMAT, I had great success in my UMAT results. Other tuition courses were always held as a big class, pretty much like a lecture, and in my opinion failed to tend to individual weaknesses. As a result I could not notice any real improvements in my results despite the different tuition courses. However during my time at Face2Face UMAT, the way the tutor taught and attended to each of us individually, provided excellent support in identifying and strengthening my weaknesses. People say you can’t really study for the UMAT and that is true to a certain extent in that the UMAT isn’t a test based on knowledge, since all the knowledge you really need for the UMAT is provided in the texts given within the exam. However Face2Face UMAT taught me the main types of questions that actually came up in the exam, and the techniques required to solve them. This gave me the edge to perform so much better in this year’s UMAT, and I noticed it most while doing the exam, because unlike previous attempts, I knew straight away how to solve each question, and I knew how to organize my timing which is another vital aspect of the UMAT.

The face 2 face UMAT program, thoroughly prepared me for the UMAT, and not only that, but most importantly, for the Interview as well. The tutors really knew what the examiners were looking for, thus they taught me what I needed to say, and in my case all the questions asked in the interview, I was prepared for.

I highly recommend Face2Face UMAT to any UMAT applicant because through my own experience I can’t reiterate enough how important individual tutoring is to perform optimally in the UMAT.

Dear the tutors of Face2Face,

I just wanted to say thank you, for all the help and support you guys had offered from as early as the beginning of year 12. Having done a course over the Internet along with lecture-based classes, the smaller group sizes of a friendly atmosphere, which Face2Face boasts, was evidently more useful. The weekly classes allowed me to gradually expose myself to each of the three sections of the UMAT, each holding a set of questions and techniques, which were key tools in facing the UMAT.

As part of the 2006 cohort, I was thrilled with the immediate adaptation to the new style of Section 3, which ACER implemented. The mock exam at no extra cost proved to be beneficial, allowing me to reach my potential achieving a mark in the 97th percentile.

With my recent admission to medical school, it is easy for me to say that Face2Face is an effective and valuable teaching centre, which assisted not only in gaining strong UMAT scores, but performing well in interviews, eventually landing me a place as a medical student.

Dear F2F UMAT,

Thank you so much for all your help getting me into Adelaide Dentistry! The skills you guys taught me were invaluable and gave me both the confidence and knowledge to cope with the UMAT exam and eventually the interview. Face2Face UMAT training really helped me achieve my goals, and I attribute this to the small class sizes that allowed me to directly learn from the tutor, as well as off the other students.

It was nice to see that you had such a strong student focus, and rather than teaching in a large lecture environment, we were taught in small groups which helped us absorb more information.  Instead of rote learning questions and answers, I learnt how to approach questions, which can be readily adapted to the ever changing nature of the UMAT exam. I also liked the fact that you had heaps of resources, including practice questions and the mock exam, which really helped me gain the confidence I needed when I sat the actual UMAT exam. However the best part of F2F UMAT I found was the ongoing support I received right up to the UMAT exam. It was a great comfort to know that you tutors were available for advice and help whenever I needed it.

Thanks again the tutors at F2F UMAT. I’m glad I found an alternative to the seminar based UMAT courses, and you might be happy to know that I’ve started to recommend my friends to attend your training course in the near future.

Dear F2F tutors,

Thank you so much for the guidance you all gave me throughout the UMAT process and allowing me to get into my preferred university and course. What was great about Face2Face was the fun learning environment and the relaxed and supportive attitudes of everyone part of the F2F team. You all had first-hand experience at the UMAT and knew what it was all about, and employed great teaching methods that allowed me to learn in the most effective manner throughout the tough HSC year. The small tutorial classes were also great, as it became more personalised and I was able to assess my own strengths and weaknesses throughout the course. I still remember being very nervous at the beginning of the interview training, however as time went on, the training gave me the confidence to answer any question aimed at me.
